The Effervescence Unleashed Cocktail of the Month for November 2024 is the Silver Daisy Sparkling Rum Cocktail.
1/4 ounce 2:1 simple syrup
3/4 ounce lime juice fresh squeezed
1/2 ounce Lyon Rum Orange Curaçao
1 1/2 ounces Amrut Two Indies Rum
2 dashes Angostura bitters
2 ounces Veritas Scintilla NV Sparkling Wine
The Veritas Vineyard and Winery NV Scintilla is made in the méthode champenoise from 100% Monticello AVA grow Chardonnay where the second fermentation is kickstarted in each bottle when a mixture of sugar is added to the cuvée.
The Lyon Rum Curaçao is infused with a selection of botanicals (notably cardamom + clove) plus bitter + sweet orange peel into our signature pot-distilled rum. The result is bolder and spicier than other orange liqueurs, with just a hint of sweetness.
The Amrut Two Indies Rum is a blend of rums from Barbados, Jamaica, Guyana and pot still Indian rum made from “Jaggery” a sugar cane juice concentrate used to make confections for the India market. The four rums are blended at Amrut Distillery located in Kambipura, India.
